There are two considerations higher priority fee: security and usability.

Security must be inherent in the application architecture, from client to server. It should be completely invisible to the operator of the retail trade.

Ease of use is sometimes simply a matter of implementing more time and effort into thinking about how the dealers actually use the system. Sometimes the solution to usability problems can be a tricky thing. The main elements of usability are OP
- Quick Response User Interface
Should - form the record of forgiveness (the interface always more work - to allow a simple example on websites, the people who write their credit card numbers with spaces or dashes or without separation, the date as in almost any format allows etc..
- Continuity of operations (the interface is read from right to left, from top to bottom and from one screen to another to go for this company, of course, you) with the transaction.

I can in this as deeply as needed (one of the hats, had an expert in UI MAJOR multinational corps, and another is the software architect, and I work in one of the largest banks in the world, so that application security is a high priority) ... just me a message if you have any questions or want a few things prototype.
